The Water Filter is a gadget in We Happy Few.
Overview[]
The water filter is used to get rid of Joy from tap water, creating pure water that is safe to drink without getting high off of Joy.
Water Filters are rarely found on their own in Wellington Wells, meaning the player will have to craft water filters in order to use them.

- Sally has a specially built machine in her home that uses a water filter to make pure water on its own, the player will have to replace the water filter with a new one after three uses.

The earliest version of the Water Filter, it's been available since the PAX East 21735 Build of We Happy Few.
Overview[]
The only use of the Water Filter, just like in the current game, is to filter out Joy from Tap Water and turning it into Filtered Water.
It took up 1 slot in the player's inventory, and it could not be placed in the player's quickslot.
