The house.
The Boyle Residence is the old home that Sally Boyle and her family lived in until 1947. Sally now lives in St. George's Holm.
History[]
Mrs. and Mr. Boyle moved into the home some time before Sally's birth in 1933. Elizabeth Boyle would be born three years later in 1936, and Anne Boyle two years later in 1938.
14 years later, during the 'Authority Project' in 1947, Sally was 13 years old, and therefore didn't have to get on the train to Germany. Her sisters, who were 11 and 9 years old at the time, had to go.
Mrs. Boyle was so distraught by the thought of having her children sent away to an unknown location where she couldn't protect them was so bad that she decided that nobody was going to get on that train. This resulted in her using Foxglove Seeds in their supper the very night before the kids were going to be sent to Germany, killing her husband, two daughters, and herself.
Mrs. Boyle and Sally had an argument, which resulted in Sally running away from home, it's because of this that she was left the sole survivor of the event. And because she had no one to care for her anymore, Mr. Hastings took her in for about two years before she ran away forever and lived on her own.
Events of We Happy Few[]
Sally has to return to her old home to get spare equipment for her lab that broke due to a fire, while back in the house, she remembers what had happened all those years ago, still affected by it to this day. Trivia[]
- The layout of the house is identical to Mrs. Chaney's House. Though the only difference is the interior.
- Despite the home being for two parents and three kids, there's only one bedroom with a single king sized bed in the middle.
- The house isn't marked on the map, so the only way to find it is to follow the objective, or accidentally stumbling across it while in the Garden District.
