Sally's Interplanetary Travel Agency - Exterior

Sally's Interplanetary Travel Agency.

Sally's Interplanetary Travel Agency is the three-story chemistry-business and home of Sally Boyle, located on St. Georges Holm in the Hamlyn Village of Wellington Wells during We Happy Few.

Buff TypicallyBritish History[]

After breaking up with Anton Verloc, Sally set up shop in St. George's Holm to continue her work, soon becoming his business rival. She'd eventually give birth to her daughter, Gwen Boyle, who resides with her on the top floor.

Sally's Interplanetary Travel Agency's first floor consists of a waiting area, a reception/office, and the lab. The second and third floor consists of Sally's home: a living room, kitchen, a bathroom and the bedroom, where Gwen rests in a makeshift crib. There is also back door leading to an alley.

The facility has several items of interest: An intercom, a Compliment Machine, the lab's keylock, the Best Chemistry Set, a Blower, a Pneumatic Stash, a So Mod Magazine poster, a water filterer and a Stereo Table that can play The Make Believes' songs when interacted with.

Buff EasilyForgotten Interior[]

As noted in the book, The Art of We Happy Few, Sally holds exclusive parties at her place, so it's hidden away at an old rundown building. Her pad is the height of futuristic mod, pushed to an unsettling degree.

Sally has an interest in space travel, hence the name of her business, 'Sally's Interplanetary Travel Agency'. She also has a lot of space related books in her house, as well as planets hanging above her bed and Gwen's crib.

Buff PureBliss Events of We Happy Few[]

Act I[]

Arthur Hastings visits Sally in order to get the Letter of Transit for the Parade District. She will get it for him in exchange for some Cod Liver Oil.

Act II[]

The player starts out her Act in her house, in which Sally is working on synthesizing Blackberry Joy. During this process, she'll be distracted by other various people who are in need of her, from Bobbies, Wellies, and her own daughter. Judging by Sally's reaction, this is a usual occurrence that's been made worse with Spud's arrival. While the constabulary takes Sally in for an interrogation, her lab catches on fire, and she's forced to gather all of the ingredients again.

Some time later in the game, Robert Byng enters her house while she was away. When she returns, she finds that he has made himself at home, and distracts him with music while Gwen cries upstairs, as no one can know of her existence. Despite this, Robert writes himself a note about the noise he heard while Sally's passed out.

After Sally escapes from Byng's safe house, a Joy Doctor infiltrates her house on Dr. Verloc's command. He manages to break into her house and begins searching for a supposed Downer in her house, only to hear Gwen crying upstairs. Sally manages to use one of her knockout syringes on him before he manages to do something worse.

In the end, Sally manages to escape out of Wellington Wells with Gwen by her side, leaving the place empty.

Buff Frenzy Bugs[]

  • If the doors are left unlocked, Criers will wander into her first floor.

Buff Conformist Trivia[]

  • In one of the concept arts (See Gallery), she was supposed to have a special chair that resembles a happy face mask.
  • Even though it was offered to her, the front door was never fixed after Spud Murphy infiltrated the house to find 'his' Blackberry.
