Sally goes to the Weird Sisters after Dr. Anton Verloc locked her out in the rain, and she discovers that she's pregnant.

Sally: "I didn't know where else to go. I'm sorry"

Vivienne: "Did he lock you out?"

Nimue: "You're here for rue, I imagine."

Sally: "Rue? Why the hell would I need rue?"

Vivienne: "She's not-"

Sally: "That's an abortifacient--"

Vivienne: "-Oh!"

Sally: "I'm not pregnant! I can't be. Joy is a contraceptive!"

Nimue: "The regular kind is."

Sally: "Oh God. I'm such an idiot!"

Nimue: "You have a lot to think about. If you keep it..."

Morgause: "Then we'll help you as much as we can. But you'll need to be very brave, dear."

Nimue: "Much braver than if you don't."

Rue is a plant that is sometimes used for certain painful conditions, despite its danger. For pregnant women, it can cause uterine contractions that have potential to cause miscarriages; some women who have tried rue for abortion have also died from it themselves.
