Quits is the name of a Memory in Act IlI of We Happy Few.
Location[]
The Victory Memorial Camp, in the lavatory inside of the bunker.
Overview[]
Ollie stumbles out of the Victory Memorial Camp, having quit the military, and sees Margaret for the first time.
Transcript[]
Margaret: "Aren't you supposed to be at work?"
Ollie: "I quit."
Margaret: "Are soldiers allowed to quit?"
Ollie: "I guess we'll find out, won't we? I don't think he'll want me back at any rate. Not after the things I told him."
Margaret: "The General?"
Ollie: "This is all his fault. The registry. The train. The way we bent over backwards."
Ollie: "Wait. How can I be talking to you? You're dead. I quit because you're dead."
Ollie: "My memory is all confused. It all just sloshes around in my head."
Margaret: "Does that make it easier to bear?"
