Memory, Trains

Percival "Percy" Hastings is the older brother of Arthur Hastings in We Happy Few.

Buff EasilyForgotten Appearance[]

Percy is almost identical to Arthur, from facial structure to hairstyle, the main differences being that he's older, taller, and doesn't wear glasses. His hair is black and a little untidy.

Percy speaks with a very slight lisp, a deeper voice than young Arthur, and sometimes struggles to get sentences straight, having to repeat himself every now and then.

Interaction[]

Percy only appears in the Arthur's memories, however, he can be seen briefly during Arthur's Coconut Joy trip.

Buff PureBliss Events of We Happy Few[]

Born in April 22nd, 1933

At the beginning of the game, Arthur reads an article in which he and his brother won a scrapyard competition when they were young, it's because of this that Arthur decides to go off Joy in search for Percy.

While on his way to find Percy, Arthur remembers more things that he and his brother did, and while on his journey he remembers more of what he had done to him.

In the end, Arthur finally remembers what truly happened at the train, getting distressed and regretful right after, knowing he can't be forgiven for it. Percy's whereabouts are never specified, and his fate is up to the player's imagination.

Buff Haggler Relationships[]

Arthur Hastings[]

Sometimes Arthur would get fed up with how Percy behaved, resulting in him lashing out, though he'd quickly apologize afterwards.

While most people would say that Percy was dim, Arthur would argue that he's just strange.

Mrs. Hastings[]

Percy spent most of his time with his mother compared to with his father, it's implied that she's the only one who truly cared and accepted him for who he was, even if she sometimes struggled caring for him.

Mr. Hastings[]

Percy and his father didn't get along very much, most likely due to his conditions. Though it's never elaborated on.

Edmund MacMillan[]

Aside from Arthur, Edmund was another friend of Percy. Most likely connecting because of how similar they were in nature.
