The Multi-Tool is a Quest Item that the player gets after completing the quest, You Can't Beat the Odds.

In Act III, the player gets this item after picking up Ollie's Backpack during his escape from the Train Station.

The Multi-Tool is an enhanced lockpick that cannot degrade, and has the unique ability of disarming tripwire traps, which are mostly found in the Garden District.

During Survival/Sandbox Mode, the player has to craft the Extractor in order to obtain it, the items the player will need are:

Buff Frenzy Bugs[]

Even if the player has the Multi-Tool in their inventory, it will not become the default option for lockpicking if the player also has lockpicks in their inventory.

As well as that, if the player has Bobby Pins in their inventory, the option to automatically craft a lockpick overrides using the Multi-Tool.

To circumvent this problem, the player needs to get rid of any lockpicks and bobby pins they happen to gather.

A broken version of the Multi-Tool, it's only available in the Pre-Alpha 11219 build of We Happy Few.

The Broken Multi-Tool was a quest item and reward for exploring Franklin's Pawn Broker, the old version of the Odds & Ends shop. The player was able to fix up the tool through crafting.

It took up 2 slot in the player's inventory and could only be placed upright. It could not be placed in the player's quickslot.

It was required to have the Multi-Tool as it could unlock the final hatch, letting the player escape out of Wellington Wells.

It took up 2 slot in the player's inventory and could only be placed upright. It could not be placed in the player's quickslot.

  • The model for the tool resembles that of a golden meat key.
  • Despite the description saying it can open lockers, it couldn't, so the player still needed to craft disposable lockpicks.
    • In the 14473 build, Advanced Electro-Lock Shockers and Multi-Tools were fixed so that they could be used on any door, safe or locker.
