Mrs. Freya Sackville is a Crier in We Happy Few who appears a couple of times during the story.

Act I[]

Mrs. Sackville can be heard crying by some withered lilies. Upon being approached by Arthur Hastings, she apologizes for her behaviour, explaining that she misses her flowers, and her old friend Violet.

When Arthur gets her some lily bulbs to Sackville, she thanks him by giving Arthur the key to her vegetable garden, and the recipe for creating Jerky.

  • Mrs. Sackville's first name is revealed in a Newspaper Article the player never gets to read.
    • Freya is a Scandinavian name, originating from the goddess of love, fertility, sexuality, lust, war, and death; Freja.
    • When Arthur finds Mrs. Sackville's secret garden, he comments on how it feels like he's in the Garden of Eden, although the Garden of Eden isn't related to Scandinavian mythology, or Freja.
  • She is one of guest questioners in the rehabilitation centre test "Oh, Behave!" during Act I.
