Mrs. Lashford was an unseen citizen of Wellington Wells in 1947. She's only mentioned a few times in We Happy Few.
Events of We Happy Few[]
On the 20th of July, 1947, Mrs. and Mr. Lashford, along with Thomas Cranmer, decided to burn the registry that had the list of all the children scheduled to be sent to Germany. This way, the Germans wouldn't know which kids to send, meaning they'd all remain home in England. However, this plan didn't come to fruition, and the three were caught red handed.
Not knowing what to do, the other English citizens decided the three should be hanged for what they had attempted, assuming it'd appease the Germans who didn't make them do anything.
The traitors were hanged under the arch on Barrow Holm as a reminder for the citizens what should happen to them if they decide to rise up.
Trivia[]
