Hope Lawrence is one of Colonel Lawrence's daughters, mentioned briefly by him in Act II when he thinks Sally Boyle is her.
Not much is known about her other than she had "gone on holiday" some time ago. Since then the rest of the family have been treating him horribly, Hope is likely the only one who truly cared about him.

- Hope is likely based off of Cordelia from "King Lear", the youngest daughter of King Lear of Briton who refused to flatter him when he asked, and got banished from the kingdom. In the end, when Cordelia attempts to reach back to her father, she's found out before meeting a tragic end.
