The Head Knocker is a light melee weapon in We Happy Few.

Buff TechFriendly Overview[]

The Head Knocker is a very good early to mid game weapon. It has medium range, swings somewhat slowly, runs out of durability slowly, and can hit multiple targets at a time with the Chain Sweep skill.

The playable character will hold the Head Knocker with their right hand, and swing it broadly to hit their target. The weapon can be charged in exchange for much of the player's stamina to deal a lot of damage.

There is an unbreakable golden version of the Head Knocker, called the Golden Knocker. It can be obtained from the Reform Club through the side quest, Madame's Magic Wand.

Buff EasilyForgotten Appearance[]

The Head Knocker is a makeshift club consisting of a tree branch with a rock taped to the end of it.

Old Content[]

The Scourge, known today as the Head Knocker, has been in the game since the Pre-Alpha 17956 build.

Buff TechFriendly Overview[]

The Scourge was a somewhat weak weapon that was sorta useful in the early game.

It took up 2 slots in the player's inventory and could only be placed upright. Weapons could not be placed in the player's quickslot.

Buff Conformist Trivia[]

  • A scourge is a leather whip that is used for physical punishment, very different from the weapon in the game.
