Charcoal is used to create a variety of different drugs and other gadgets.
Appearance[]
It has the appearance of lightweight graphitic carbon obtained as residue, produced by strongly heating materials (usually wood) in a low oxygen environment.

- Charcoal is used to create gunpowder and gas masks in the real world.
- Activated charcoal acts as an absorbent, hence its use in creation of gas masks. They may also be used to treat overdoses or poisonings. However, activated charcoal is specially produced for medicinal purposes.

Overview[]
Charcoal was a crafting component that was used for crafting varying items. In the 17956 build, when the player gathered charcoal for the first time, they'd unlock the blueprint for crafting Black Powder.
It took up 1 slot in the player's inventory, and it could not be placed in the player's quickslot.
