Dottie Lloyd-Ramsay, or Dottie Lloyd, is a Downer found in the Garden District, she is only encountered during Act II in which she consoles her husband, Bill Ramsay, who is desperately trying to sleep.

Buff TypicallyBritish History[]

Dottie and Bill used to work at Haworth Labs, though they had to escape after they had a bad batch of Joy, and Bill suffered through gas as he forgot to put a gas mask on in time.

They now reside in a worn down home in the Garden District, when Sally meets the couple, Bill is convulsing violently on the bed, screaming that he sees eyes everywhere and cannot sleep. Dottie asks Sally if she can make him sleep, to which she complies.

Even with Sally's help, Bill is unable to sleep, Dottie says she gave him quietrapine before they escaped, asking Sally if she was the one who made the drug for Adams before quitting and going for Dr. Verloc. Sally justifies herself, and Dottie gets condescending, showing signs of jealousy.

After giving Bill some Hallucinex, he passes out. Sally realises Dottie had giving him something else, which resulted in his death. Dottie says she'll be returning to the village again.

Buff Conformist Trivia[]

  • Dottie knows that Dr. Verloc is trying to recreate Blackberry Joy, Sally's creation, by messing with the formula for Coconut Joy. Though she doesn't know that the Joys are not based on their flavours.
  • Dottie has a double barrelled surname, this is quite common in Britain as to preserve a family name that would've otherwise disappeared without a male decendant.
