Cod Liver Oil is a quest item in Act I of We Happy Few.
Overview[]
A bottle of cod liver oil is retrieved by Arthur during the story quest Haworth Labs. The oil is given to Sally in exchange for a Letter of Transit.
In Act II, the reason for Sally needing the oil is revealed. Her infant daughter, Gwen, comes down with the measles, and an old medical book recommends Cod Liver Oil as a remedy.

Cod Liver Oil is found on a desk in Dr. Anton Verloc's personal lair, just before he makes his escape. Arthur will not leave the room until he has picked up the oil.
Trivia[]
- Arthur comments that Mrs. Boyle used to "torment" Sally with cod liver oil in the past, implying she was forced to take the medicine when she was younger on many occasions.
- Cod liver oil is extracted from the livers of Atlantic cod, commonly used to treat vitamin A and B deficiency, kidney disease, blood pressure, heart disease and much more. Being rich in vitamin A, cod liver oil is indeed very effective against measles like it’s use in the game.

Overview[]
Cod Liver Oil could be found inside of one of the chests at Faraday's Workshop, inside James and Roger's bedroom. It's unclear what the purpose of the item was during this time.
It took up 1 slot in the player's inventory, and it could not be placed in the player's quickslot.
