Cloth Scraps are crafting components in We Happy Few.

There are five different types of Cloth in the game, regular Cloth Scraps, Coarse Linen, Fine Linen, Dark Linen, and Ephemeral Linen.

Each of the cloths are used to craft various outfits, medicinal items, and weapons.

Cloth is the earliest version of the current Cloth Scrap, available since the Pre-Alpha 11219 build of We Happy Few.

As crafting components, Cloth was the only material used to craft more items than just clothes.

It took up 1 slot in the player's inventory, and it could not be placed in the player's quickslot.

Fine Linen has been available since the Pre-Alpha 11219 build of We Happy Few.

Fine Linen was only used to craft the Fancy Suit. In the 17956 build, the player would obtain the blueprint for the Fancy Suit once they'd collected Fine Linen for the first time.

It took up 1 slot in the player's inventory, and it could not be placed in the player's quickslot.

Tough Linen has been available since the Pre-Alpha 11219 build of We Happy Few before being possibly changed/removed.

Tough Linen was only used to craft the Thick Suit. In the 17956 build, the player would obtain the blueprint for the Thick Suit once they'd collected Tough Linen for the first time.

It took up 1 slot in the player's inventory, and it could not be placed in the player's quickslot.

Canvas Scrap is a removed item, available in earlier (although undetermined) builds of We Happy Few.

Considering how this item can craft both the Boiler Suit and the Padded Suit, it is very likely that Canvas Scrap was intended to replace Tough Linen, and perhaps even Coarse Linen.

  • The canvas scrap re-appears in the Lightbearer DLC. Though it only serves as décor.
  • The in-game model appear to be somewhat stretched out and rounded at the top compared to all of the other Cloth Scraps.
